Looking back on our days in Germany I read the note we got with words from people in Skien. The first of them was making friends. For the one student in the DTS who did not have German or English as her mother tongue – a Danish girl, it meant a lot to be able to speak her own language. She became a good friend during these few days. She became a good friend during these few days. She was a great evangelist with a heart for Germany, so we got to inspire and encourage each other.

The second word – give Christians a push to go out. One guy that joined us to pray was so inspired that he decided to not only let us have the meeting at his youth group – but to bring the group out to evangelize after. Not only this Friday – but from now on. God speaks, he leads, only with Him can we make a difference!

During a treasure hunt God was leading me to an old woman who had pain in her leg – it was going to be amputated… We got to pray for her and buy her milk – and in that way we experienced to be part of Gods care for this woman.

Vi har hatt noen spennende dager her i Luxemburg.  Vi har gått på
skattejakt (treasure hunting) og virkelig opplevd at Herren har ledet
oss til mennesker. Mann i rød caps! Han møtte vi og fikk virkelig
oppmuntre. Ei garistvakt som ikke hadde lov til å snakke tilbake til
oss. Vi tok anledningen og oppmuntret ham skikkelig! HHåper bare at
han forstod engelsk. En annen spratt opp at stolen og takk oss da vi
delte om Gud. Vi kjente oss ledet til å gå over til en mann si : Jesus
elsker deg. Han lyste opp og sa, jeg er også en kristen . Han ble så
oppmuntret at han gav oss gratis billetter til museumet han jobbet i.
Det var et veldig nyttig besøk som lærte oss masse om Luxemburgs
historie. Vi har mange flere historier på lager, men de får vente til
en annen gang! Vi kjenner det er såtid i Luxemburg og mange er blitt
oppmuntret. En blir faktisk veldig oppmuntret av å oppmuntre andre.

It was the last evening when we came back from town and two of the youth told us there was a worship time!  When I entered the worship area it was so warm that it felt like a wall hit me in the face!  I got encouraged about how they prayed out loud for Europe and so I joined the prayer and worship.  People were healed!  Some were well the next day too.  God is good!

We have been a team of 4 at this beautiful place of Svalbard/Longyearbyen. This is a place with tough nature and climate,but with hard working people that are amongst the most generous people we have ever met. The people of Longyearbyen are a wonderful mixture of nationalities and they all seem to have a smile on their face.
We pray that the people of Svalbard will experience more of God’s heart for them, that He will protect the industries here and help people believe in themselves and find the courage and creativity to start new areas of working places and industry for Longyearbyen. We pray that the nations of the world will have their eyes opened for this place and the example they are with the way so many cultures can live together and thrive, and even be the safest place on earth with hardly any crime.

We have prayed for wisdom and strategy for further ministry here, and for ways to bless the people we have met. Mainly the trip has been research about Svalbard: both practical information, and listening to God, for His thoughts about the place and people and for further ministry here.

People have lend us 2 flats and a car for our stay, and we have been blessed with beautiful weather and a free breakfast at the hotel. Our plan was to bless the people here, but I believe we have been blessed just as much them. We blessed in the invisible, and God blessed us back in the physical.

Svalbard is a place that people can`t help falling in love with. And my experience is just the same, so I am already looking forward to coming back

In the mean time I will do all I can to recommend it to and share Gods heart for this place to others.

Honestly, I felt like a whisper in the wind as we walked through the streets of Tetovo, Macedonia, on Saturday afternoon. Finding out the night before that there are only 40 evangelical churches in Macedonia, evangelism is illegal because you are either Muslim or Orthodox there is no need for people to bring in another ‘religion’, and 85% of the people in Tetovo are Albanian Muslim made my flesh exhausted and my mind immediately started putting limits on God’s power. As I walked through the beautifully distinct and authentic streets of Tetovo my heart stirred with deep compassion and longing for my brothers and sisters in this country.

The thought that continued to pop up and stick persistently in my mind was how can I not grieve for these people who won’t be with me in the Kingdom. As the call of prayer went off at the mosque I found myself weeping and wanting to fall to my knees crying out for righteousness to be established in the land and for the intimacy and revelation of Jesus to be released.

I do believe shifts were made in the spiritual realm. My reason, my mind has no place to put limits on what God can unleash. The only Christians in this city as far as we know are the YWAM staff. A family of five has been planted there and has received encouragement that God is coming with newness and breakthrough in this next season.

To be able to contend for this majestic nation of Macedonia, to know they are a part of mine and Jesus’ inheritance, and hearing words of hope specifically for this family reminds me I am a drop in the ocean but in the will of God what an impact my prayers, our prayers have made and make.

Sweden

Thomas and I went treasure hunting.  We prayed for the people whom we should meet, but as we walked around we didn’t see them.  So we just sat down on a bench and prayed tha God would lead the people to us Himself.  As we were sitting there, a man came and stood in front of us trying to light his cigarette.  His friend soon joined him.  They asked us where we are from and then we started a conversation with them about God.  They shared their life experiences, but then they had to go.
We were so sad that we didn’t get to pray for them and we prayed that we would get another chance to meet them.  It happened!  On the second night we met one of the guys and prayed for him with our whole team.  We gave him two copies of the Father’s Love Letter, one for him and one for his friend.

During our Romania trip I got to paint a prophetic picture for a girl in a coffee shop. I prepared the painting and just got “red” as a hint for who it was for. Once the coffee shop opened and I started painting the only person that was wearing red was a girl. Later I explained the picture and gave it to her. She was so encouraged and grateful.

Dina Anderson – Montenegro!

Something very significant about our team’s trip to Montenegro was that God ended up planning our trip for us! There are approximately 100 evangelical Christians in Montenegro and we got to meet 7 of them during our short trip!  When we prayed for them, God wanted to encourage them using Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 60:1-2, and Isaiah 61:1-3.  Our entire trip was filled with divine appointments, God’s guidance, protection, favor, and grace!
I think it was especially cool to meet up with the pastors and experience how the words God had put on my heart to share were right into their situation and became an encouragement and a confirmation to them.
